The satisfaction you get when you’ve cooked a meal or prepared dessert gives the final outcome a better taste! This is what we experienced once we tried the homemade bounty bars recipe… Remember, happiness is homemade and so are desserts.
- 5 cups of desiccated coconut
- 1 cup of condensed milk
- 2 cups of semi-sweet Chocolate Chips (You can use milk or dark)
- 4 tablespoon of Unsalted Soft Butter
Butter a pan generously.
Mix coconut and condensed milk well in a bowl. Spoon the mix into the pan and spread evenly. Chill this for 2 hours in fridge.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate and butter by double boiler method or in microwave. Mix well.
Unmold the bar and cut it into squares. Dip each bar in chocolate and arrange it in a parchment lined plate.
Chill for few minutes and then serve 🙂
