Sharing is caring, and what better way to start any friendly dinner than with tasty bread rolls. For a quick and easy recipe, Michele from Cuisine D’amour will be showing us how we can master the “fluffy pull-apart dinner rolls”.
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons warm water (warm to the touch)
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3 and a 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons dried thyme or Rosemary (optional)
Preheat oven to 205 degrees C.
In the bowl of your stand mixer, combine the warm water, oil, yeast, and sugar. Allow the mixture to rest for 15 minutes until foam forms.
Mix 2 cups of the flour, the salt, and the egg into the yeast mixture using a dough hook. Add the remaining 1½ cups flour, ½ cup at a time. Mix in the dried herbs.
Shape dough into 12 balls and place in a greased pan. Let dough rest for about 10 minutes.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
